We are pleased to introduce the AJ Series Triple Eccentric Butterfly Valve, a metal seated valve granting excellent performance and engineered for severe service conditions where safety, reliability, and zero leakage are essential.

Designed with an advanced triple eccentric (triple offset) metal-to-metal sealing concept, the AJ Series delivers "zero leakage" tight shut-off while eliminating friction between seat and seal ring during operation. This results in minimal wear, low operating torque, and extended service life, even under extreme pressure and temperature.

AVK Industrial Solutions S.r.l. announces the acquisition of PetrolValves S.p.A.’s manufacturing site for triple offset valves located in Piacenza, Italy

AVK Industrial Solutions S.r.l. is a supplier of industrial valves, actuators, and accessories, and part of the AVK Group. The transaction reinforces the AVK Group’s commitment to expanding its production capabilities and strengthening its overall butterfly valve offering for a wide range of industrial applications requiring high performance and reliability.

Under the terms of the agreement, AVK Industrial Solutions S.r.l. assumes ownership of the business dedicated to the manufacturing of triple offset valves, including 42 employees currently based at the Piacenza facility. This acquisition enables the AVK Group to further enhance its product portfolio, drive innovation across high performance product lines, and deliver comprehensive valve solutions to customers across multiple industrial segments — including the energy market.

The PetrolValves production site in Piacenza has been operational since 2018, specialising in the production of high-performance ball valves and triple offset valves. Following the acquisition, the site will be seamlessly integrated into the organisation of AVK Industrial Solutions S.r.l. and AVK’s global production network, ensuring continuity for employees, customers, and suppliers.

With this strategic step, AVK Industrial Solutions S.r.l. further solidifies its position as a trusted partner for high-performance valve solutions. By combining the Piacenza team’s specialised expertise with AVK’s global reach and long-term vision, the Group is well positioned to accelerate innovation, enhance service levels, and create new value for customers worldwide.

Some of the InterApp sales organizations - alrady renowned for offering one of the most extensive product portfolios in the industrial sector and backed by deep application expertise - will though gradually evolve into AVK Industrial sales organizations. This transformation reflects our commitment to strengthening partnerships, enhancing service, and supporting our customers with an even broader range of solutions.

What this means for our customers

The transition has already begun, with our organizations in Poland and Italy leading the way as they start operating under the AVK Industrial name by mid of this year.

In the German-speaking markets, we are working closely to unify our efforts and establish a strong DACH organization, which, like the North American organization, continues to operate under the InterApp brand. The existing sales structure of the other industrial brands in the DACH-region and North America remains unchanged.

Throughout this process, we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.
